Hi I'm Jack

I've been a prepress operator in Printing all my life, I was raised Jewish and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm so excited that our whole family is together. Our children and grandchildren moved to Utah so we had to make the jump also. Now we're together and that is the most important thing to me, my family. I've always felt it important to serve others, especially the widows, widowers and those who are ill. I love people and love to be a listening ear for those who need it. I love my children and grandchildren and son-in-laws and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Isn't that our purpose here, to learn, grow and help others (especially our families) to do the same.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a Jewish background and it took me some time to understand who Jesus Christ really is. Long story short, Isaiah 53 convinced me that Jesus is the true Messiah of the world and that I needed to follow him to gain salvation. After much praying and fasting, I learned for myself that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and that he translated to gold plates, by help from on high, to what is known today as the Book of Mormon and that it is a true volume of scripture for us to learn and live by.

How I live my faith

I've served in many positions in the Church and have learned and benefited by each one. I love serving, especially when I know that the opportunities to serve are created by my Heavenly Father for my progression and for the progression of those whom I serve. Many times the opportunities to serve are not formal, coming as a calling (or position) in the Church but it is by the inspiration that I receive from the Holy Ghost, letting me know what it is that I should be doing at a certain time in my life or in my daily activities. I love to attend the Temple (or the House of the Lord) where I have received the ordinances necessary for my salvation and now I attend to recommit to those covenants I've made and to do them, by proxy, for those that weren't able to have them performed for themselves while in this life.
