Hi I'm Rick

I'm a Husband, a Father, a Grandpa, a Sandrail taxi and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked in the electronics industry for 30 years developing and testing electronics that go into Military aircraft to keep our pilots safe. My hobby is building and driving my sand rail. I love to go to the sand dunes and load up the rail with grand kids and friends and speed through the dunes. We have even spent a couple of Christmas Days in the Dunes. One year the grand kids made a snow man out of sand. Most of all it is great to be a part of a family that loves and helps one another.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't know much about the church until I was about 13. My parents said we were Mormons but I had not been baptized or attended any church. I was invited by some friends at my high school to learn more about the Church and took the Missionary lessons. As I took the lessons I remember the warm feeling that came over me as I learned about Jesus Christ and my Father in heaven and the love they have for me. I came to a better understanding of that Love as my wife and I raised our four daughters. Now we have 17 Grandchildren and love them all.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth of the church and interview youth and adults who want to go to the Temple. The Temples are the most sacred of all our church buildings. It is where we go to have our Families bound together forever.
