Hi I'm Jackson

I'm from the mountains of Idaho. I'm an inventor, I'm a musician. I even know how to bake.

About Me

I love music! Being a part of it is amazing and uplifting. I sing, play many instruments, and I'm constantly learning something new. I also like to play sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. I have had many different injuries with those sports; such as, fractured wrists, many concussions, broken noses (6 times), and fracturing my heel. Reading is also a big part of my life, and there is always something new to get out of a book. Especially the Bible and The Book of Mormon (the scriptures). I'm pretty easy to get along with, unless you don't like humor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What made me a member was how i was baptized, and became converted to the gospel. I started to learn and study scriptures for myself. Youth activities were very important for me, your peers have a great influence on you. When you do things that you know are right, and don't give up on them, those things won't give up on you. There are so many different religions out there. One thing that has always appealed to me is that the teachings of the church (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) doesn't take away from the faith that someone already has. It just brings to that person more truth to add to their faith and to build them up to the person they can become. All anyone has to do is study out in their mind and pray to know if it is true. I can promise that anyone who is truly seeking will receive an answer.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I've participated in many service projects. service is a great thing. I've had many opportunities to be in band at school, and musicals/plays. I've taken advance classes, but i couldn't have done it without the way i live my life. I was also able to be part of boys state, a government learning program funded by the American Legion. In church i have held callings that have helped me learn and grow. Those helped prepare me for life and my mission in North Carolina. Your actions speak louder than your words. through all these events I've been a part of, the one thing i always found comfort in was my family supporting me. whenever you see someone that is in need, don't be afraid to help them.
