Hi I'm Todd Nevin

From AZ, served in Italia (Azzuri!), moved to NY, live in TX. I'm a D'backs fan AND I'm a Yankees fan. I'm an IBMer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I'm a family man! I love sports... playing, coaching, watching. I particularly love team sports and am more a fan of the game than individual players. I loved football and baseball as a child and still do but nothing raises my adrenaline like watching Italia in world cup soccer. Nothing except watching and rooting for my kids in their various athletic activities. When time permits, I love working with wood... building, creating, sharing. The only thing better is doing it with my kids. I'm a handyman... I love fixing things! I love hard work. I always prefer to do it myself then pay for someone to do it.... maybe because to pay the bills I sit in a chair all day. I'm an IBMer. I'm the finance guy. I do whatever I can to make the money work for the people I work for. I love the diversity of the world. I love to experience other cultures. I grew up in Arizona (Sonoran desert Hispanic influence), I served a mission in Italia, moved to New York (Northeastern vibe), live in Texas ("World's Best" mentality and "Keep Austin Weird" culture) and have visited England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Mexico, Canada, and India. I simply love to see how others live and learn more about how they think! I love ice cream... mint chocolate chip mixed with death-by-chocolate and macadamia nuts. I love crisp chewy cookies and dry brownies. My favorite animal is a tiger... for many reasons. Did I mention I'm a family man!

Why I am a Mormon

Eternal progression... I live every aspect of my life driven by an internal compass that directs me to continually learn, continually improve, and continually grow. In my personal life, in my family life, in my work life and even in my hobbies and volunteering, I gravitate toward and am driven by improvement... progress forward. I believe the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints doctrine regarding our eternal nature is closest to my heart. I also believe God has more to offer us in terms of communication. The Book of Mormon is an additional source of God's written word and He continues to reveal His will through living prophets. Each of us can also maintain an ongoing relationship with God through prayer and personal revelation.

How I live my faith

I live for my family. I do my best to consider their well being in every decision I make and every action I take. I hope to live my life in a way that is consistent no matter where I am or what I am doing... at home, at work, at church, or in the community. So... how do I live my faith.... well, just the best I can.
