Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am husband and father of three children. I work in international marketing. I enjoy the time I get to be with my family, even when just doing things around the house, coaching soccer for the kids.

Why I am a Mormon

Very simply I know that Christ lives and his teaching, example, and atonement are our way back to our loving Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon teaches us clearly of Christ's teachings and help us understand, together with the Bible, how we can live and grow. I know we have a prophet to teach us today. I know that a full understanding of Christ teachings and full participation in the covenants and ordinances he has requested of us are crucial in the process.

How I live my faith

I love helping people. While this may be done in many ways through many good organizations, I love doing it with people centered in Christ. I find people need help in many ways. Sometimes they need help moving, sometimes they need help healing a broken heart. Sometimes they just need a friend. Trying to live the teachings of Christ compels me to act and help. In so doing, I find great happiness. I find that as I travel about the world, mostly in fulfilling my professional obligations, that the faith of Church members is strong around in many countries. I feel inspired when I visit congregations in other countries. It makes me want to do more at home. And it is instructive for me that the teachings of Christ are universally applicable for all that are seeking happiness. Above all, I try to be an example for my children. I want them to be willing to follow Christ and have the happiness that comes with it.
