Hi I'm Dawn

I love children. I am a pediatric nurse and I teach Nursing school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mom, daughter, friend, sister, niece, granddaughter, teacher, Registered Nurse, and I love people, especially children. I had my first child young and my last child before I started nursing school. I received my RN when I was 30 years old and my Masters when I was 42 years old. I teach Nursing school at a community college. I love watching people succeed and find joy. I have been married, divorced and remarried. My favorite holiday is Halloweenie! My life is no different then that of any other person. I have happiness, I have trials, my children are wonderful, but no family is perfect.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I know my purpose, I know my plan, I know my future. I feel joy and happiness. To know that I am married to my husband forever gives me peace and guidance. My children are a blessing in my life. Heavenly Father does not make mistakes. When there is a trial in my life, the Lord has always worked it out for me. Heavenly Father has a plan of happiness for each person on this earth. We are all here to learn, love, and be a support. The gospel have given me an outlook on life of happiness. There are many reasons in this world to be sad, but there are many reasons to be happy. The gospel helps me see with my eternal eyes and I see happiness. I have had times of true saddness.. my father dying when I was 17 years old, and hardship....my divorce, going through school with four children, being the "single" parent, but the Lord has never failed me and always fulfilled every need and I looked forward with a purpose. I am a daughter of a Royal family... A Heavenly Father and a perfect brother: Jesus Christ. What better life can that be?

How I live my faith

In the gospel, I have taught children ages 18 months through 18 years to feel that their Heavenly Father loves them and that they are a blessing to this earth. I have hiked, camped, and canoed with young women in the mountains and beach for over 10 years all the while leaning how wonderful each daughter of God is. I have been a cub scout leader for boys ages 8 years through 10 years..them teaching me about fun and happiness more than I taught them. I have felt the joy of Young Women who are learning about their purpose and how important they are to the world. I have been blessed to be a member of an organization that is the largest in the world of women who truly love their families and neighbors and want to bring charity to all...The Relief Society. How awesome it is to be a witness of acts of love and kindness with no expectation of a return favor. Love is given because it is the right thing to do.
