Hi I'm Emily!

I'm a newly wed, soon to be mother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the rainy Northwest. I married my husband Feb 2011, and we are expecting our first child in Feb 2012 and we have a chocolate lab named Gunner. I love mexican food, playing board/card games, traveling and being with my friends and family! I love my job, I work in Occupational Therapy and work in a skilled nursing facility helping people that have had a surgery, or an illness adapt so that that they can live independently.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. I was raised by wonderful parents who have always been Christ-like examples to me. I believe the LDS religion has the fullness of the gospel, living prophets and am so happy for the knowledge that I have! We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul-We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. (Thirteenth article of faith)

How I live my faith

I live my life faith daily by gaining a stronger relationship with my Heavenly Father through prayer, studing my scriptures and serving others. I teach the 13-14 year old girls at church on Sundays. The girls are amazing examples of faith, integrity and kindness.
