Hi I'm Linsey

I grew up in Utah. I love my husband and family so much. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Linsey! My husband is Mitch and we were Sealed for Eternity in the beautiful Draper, Utah Temple on April 6, 2010. It was a magical day! We have a cozy little home with our little dog, Kodie. We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities such as; camping, four-wheeling, boating, swimming, hiking, biking and sitting around a fire making smores. We consider ourselves the luckiest Aunt & Uncle in the world to 2 beautiful nieces and 4 adorable nephews. My husband works as a Pharmacy Technician and plans to attend Pharmacy school soon! I work with my cousin/best friend and have a blast. That's our crazy life in one quick little paragraph!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with my family. My parents took us to church every Sunday as far back as I can remember. I don't know where I would be today without the Gospel. Whenever I feel alone, I pray to my Heavenly Father and he is always there. He always knows how to comfort me and remind me I'm not alone in the struggles I'm going through. The Gospel has been such an amazing guide to me in my life! It literally has had a part in every decision I ever made/make. Knowing that family or friends who have passed on, are waiting for me. That I WILL see them again! That is such a comforting feeling. My mother's mother passed away when I was very young (6) and just the thought that my children WILL meet her someday is such a happy thought and makes me feel so good! Knowing that, I am Sealed to my amazing husband for time and all eternity could not make me any happier or feel any more peaceful. I love my husband more than anything in the world! A happy day in Heaven to me is to be with him and our children forever. I love being a member of this church. It has made me the person I am today! A better person than I could ever be without it. I can't wait to take my future children to church every Sunday and help them grow and become great spirits in the Gospel! That will be such a happy time.

How I live my faith

My husband and I live in a very young area! We are nursery teachers to the 18mth-2yr olds. We love each child in our class so so much and really enjoy teaching them the Gospel. It really is amazing how much they remember even when you don't think they understand. It's such a blessing to us when our nursery kids start singing along to "I Am a Child of God". It warms my heart and makes me so proud of them. A way that I've figured out how to get to know the sisters of my ward, is Visiting Teaching! I am to the point where I look forward to visiting my sisters. I love getting to know them and being there for them! We love to be involved with ward activities and parties, even though we don't have children! It helps is to stay involved with our ward, get to know more people and helps us to become more out-going and put ourselves out there more often! It helps us become better people and personally and spiritually grow.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Linsey
Eternal is another word for forever. We believe that if you go through the proper steps and become worthy, you can be Sealed to your family and be together forever! Being Sealed is such a special thing! Knowing that you will be with your loved ones forever is such a comforting feeling. Having an eternal life is an amazing miracle that Heavenly Father made possible for us, if we Choose The Right. Show more Show less
