Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman and have two beautiful kids. I go to school full time, working on a degree in Air Traffic Management. I like to watch TV and movies, play games, and watch and play sports. I like working with my hands and doing projects. While I'm attending school, my wife works full time, so that makes me "Mr. Mom." I enjoy being with my kids most of the day. I also do all the cooking, but am trying to teach my wife the basics so she can take over.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the knowledge that our families can be together forever and that we have a plan to make it back and live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ after this life on earth. I am thankful for living prophets and apostles on the earth that help us to know and live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love the scriptures both the Bible and the Book of Mormon and know they are true and testify of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making sure I'm doing the right things each day. I make sure I have my priorities straight and love to spend my time with my family. We make sure we have family prayer morning and night with our daughter, who's learning to pray. I also exercise my faith by giving priesthood blessings, when called upon, to my wife and children and others around me. I serve in my church by working with the young children ages 4-5 and teaching them to know their Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I also keep track of attendance and records in my ward. One thing I enjoy doing is going "hometeaching" every month. I go with a partner and we visit and teach 2-3 families that we've been assigned to. It's great to get to know the people in my ward better and be there for them if they need me.
