Hi I'm Kathie

I was born in California, I met my wonderful husband in Panama and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my amazing husband for almost 33 years. We have 8 children and soon to be 10 grandchildren. I work full time paying bills for a large fast food franchise. I love my job and the wonderful people I work with. I enjoy reading and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon, but at some point I had to decide for myself if I wanted to continue to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ or follow a different path. I chose to follow my Savior. I'm not saying I am perfect at it, but I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love knowing I have a living Prophet on the Earth to lead and guide us. I am grateful that Joseph Smith was worthy to translate the gold plates so we could have the Book of Mormon, another Testament of Jesus Christ. I love knowing my husband is worthy to hold the Priesthood, and that the Priesthood can be used to preform ordinances and blessings in Heavenly Father's name.

How I live my faith

I love to attend my Sunday meetings. Feeling the Spirit while listening to the speakers or my brothers and sisters testimonies helps me get through the week. I have had the opportunity to teach in many different organizations through my years in the Mormon Church. I have taught children, young women and the women in different Wards or communities we have lived in. No matter where we have lived, the Church is the same and we have always found a "family" in each new community we have lived in.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Kathie
We are very grateful that Joseph Smith was worthy to bring Christ's Church back to the earth again, but Jesus Christ is the head of this church. We are Christians, as the name of our church represents. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Show more Show less
