Hi I'm Veronica

I'm a Pastry Chef, a sister, a friend, a dog lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child of five girls, also known as the black sheep. Growing up, I didn't have anyone to play with because the two oldest would always be together, and same as to the two youngest. However, I am blessed because I played with them anyway. I love my sisters dearly. They are my life and my love. And the Gospel made it easier for me to know that families are together forever. Other than loving my family, I like to do pretty much everything but for the most part I like yoga. I'm a yogi. I've been practicing Bikram yoga, on and off, for the past three years. I love the feeling of accomplishment that I get once class is over. It's exhilarating, fun, sweating like a pig, and mainly, it helped me be in-tuned with myself. And with that, I followed my heart desires in becoming a Pastry Chef. I love my job, I love that I get to do what I love to do and that is to make scrumptious sweet desserts. Hence, the love of eating desserts and food are my favorite thing to do. In general, I love to eat. I'm a "tiny" person as everyone describe me, but this "tiny" self of mine can eat. Oh one more thing, I love my dog!

Why I am a Mormon

I had my fair share of conversion into the church- I may have grew up in the church all my life, but there was a point in my life that I fell away from the teachings of the gospel. It's been a year and a half now since I've been active to church; and honestly, this is by far the best decision I have ever made in my entire life and the happiest I have ever been (well next to getting married, hopefully.) I know only through Him, our Savior Jesus Christ, is the path to our eternal happiness. Knowing that there is a living God who hears and answers my prayers, accepts me for who I am and knows me for who I truly am. By that, it give me a sense of belonging and a knowledge that I am a daughter of God. Most importantly, the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Without His atoning sacrifice there is no purpose in this life. A perfect Being gave his life to bring to pass the immortality of men and to conquer death, and that one day we will be able to live with Him again. I love knowing that! That if I follow His ways, I will live with my Heavenly Father and my Savior once again. I love this gospel so much, and I know that I belong to the only true church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to keep the commandments of God. I pray almost every day, and I find reading the scriptures, continually, help me grow my faith each day. I love going to church. Of all the days, I look forward for Sundays to come. The feeling of love, unity, and a sense of belonging that let me know I'm at the right place and at the right time.
