Hi I'm Lauralynn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Lauralynn and I am a Mormon. I love to cook, sew, and work in my garden. I have been married for six years to my wonderful husband. We like to run, kayak, hike, practice yoga and just be together. I grew up in Southern California. I went to college at Brigham Young University, while there I studied Clothing Construction.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, when I was eight years old. I love being a member of this Church. It has provided me with so much comfort in my life. I am grateful for a living prophet on the earth to day to help guide my life, so I one day can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I am grateful for the blessing of the temple, where I can be sealed to my family for time and all eternity. The temple is where I feel closest to my Heavenly Father, and where He teaches me and helps me to progress here on this earthly journey. I am grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ, that I might be forgiven and have the opportunity to live with him again, if I follow his humble example.

How I live my faith

There are so many ways to get involved with the church community in your area. I have served with the youth in teaching Sunday School. I have served by playing the piano for the young children to help them worship through song. The spirit can be felt so closely through signing praises to worship. I have accompanied the missionaries to visit families in our community. I have served through organizations in the church to provide food and clothing, to those who might be having a hard time economically.
