Hi I'm Valerie P

I am from Rexburg, ID. I am a student at BYU-Idaho. I love service and laughing. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I have a deep passion for music. I play the piano, violin, guitar, and sing. I write my own music. I feel music connects people to emotions and it's a definite way for people to feel the Spirit. I love it. Family is a necessity in my life. I would not be where I am today without them. I'm the second youngest of 6. They are my world and I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to them. I love meeting new people and uplifting them. I believe that everyone is a child of God and should know and feel that they are loved! I enjoy listening to people's lives. I love learning about new cultures and different lifestyles. Most importantly I love God and I love Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's true! I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents have been strong in the Gospel. They have been a great example to me. I love learning about the teachings of Jesus Christ and how we can come closer to Him. I really love teaching people about these truths and helping them receive the blessings of the Gospel. Being a Mormon gives me hope. I always have opportunities to improve and to strive to become what our Heavenly Father wants me to be. I know that I have been blessed and continually receive blessings everyday. There is just a radiance of happiness from being Mormon that I want to share with everyone.

How I live my faith

Service! When I am feeling down or angry, I try to forget myself and serve someone else. It's 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I always can walk away from service with a smile if I truly put my heart into it. I try to help others and help them feel loved. Currently I'm serving a mission in Tennessee! We're spreading the good word of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and with the help of the Lord, changing lives.
