Hi I'm Lila

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised the youngest of six little girls in a small town in California. I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant by trade, but retired two years ago to raise my little boy. I love animals, computers, and watching movies with my husband. I'm a big fan of shows like Law & Order and House. Someday I would love to travel the world and see Holland, Australia, and Sierra Leone.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church and have always felt a strong connection with my Heavenly Father. I draw strength from the stories of my pioneer ancestors who sacrificed so much for the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was 16 years old, my family visited some of our Church's sacred historical sites. At one of these sites, I was left to ponder and pray about my faith and the things I had been taught all my life. I was so overwhelmed with a feeling of peace and a deep sense of the love my Father in Heaven as for me, that I could not deny that I am in the right place. This church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is His church. I know it to be true and cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

Music is a major part of my life. I play the piano for many of the church organizations including the women's group and the children. My greatest joy is found in teaching my young son to pray, sing songs about Jesus, and to help him know his Savior.
