Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a wife, mother, student and volunteer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah but now reside in Arizona with my Husband and 4 children. I have the privilege of being a stay at home mom and recently went back to school to finish up my degree. I'm thinking History. I love reading about American History and War. I love old cemeteries and would love to have a home right across the street from one. My husband thinks I'm weird but loves me anyway!I am very patriotic. I love my country and the men and women who serve to protect. I am also a volunteer with a couple organizations here in Arizona which I love. I believe volunteering is the new prozac! You can't help but feel better about yourself when helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon Church. My mom was an active member and made sure we were at church every Sunday which I am extremely grateful for. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for her and I think I turned out pretty good. Besides my mom I had great youth leaders who presented me with opportunities to feel the spirit, which I did. This is where my personal testimony of Christ began and it's been growing ever since.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is simple. I love Jesus Christ and try my best to emulate the type of person he was on earth; even while driving ;) I try to act each day as if He were in front of me; although, I don't always succeed. Just ask my children! As a Mormon I have the opportunity to receive a calling or opportunity as I call it to serve the people in my church. It's always a surprise and comes as a call from my Bishop. I have had the opportunity to work with and teach the children, youth and adults. Teaching the adults was the scariest thing I had ever done but I knew I would learn more than ever. I taught out of the Doctrine and Covenants which is a book in the Book of Mormon. This is the history of our church. Never have I felt closer to the spirit of the Lord and my savior Jesus Christ as well as the men and women who's testimonies of this gospel took them through the most difficult times I could ever imagine. I love living in a place where there are different cultures and religions around me. I think it's important to love and respect everyone no matter culture or religion. I would have missed out on a lot of great friends had I not lived my life that way.
