Hi I'm Christy

I'm a crafty, creative stay-at-home mom. I love riding motorcycles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Creating, especially drawing and painting, has always been apart of who I am. My mother-in-law taught me how to sew and I haven't stopped since. I love trying new ways to create whether it is with fabric or frosting or paint. But the other side of this artsy girl is a dirt biker. I was riding motorcycles before I could walk. The challenge of the climb, the smell and sounds of the motor, the speed of the bikes are integral part of my childhood. Now as I have my own family, I love how it brings us together as we get out and play on the mountains. Some of my favorite with my family are camping on the lake for riding in the morning and boating in the afternoon with campfire stories and smores in the evening.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents started going to church when I was two years old. I am eternally grateful for the foundation they laid for me, the values they taught. My mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. My testimony of the Gospel steadied me. I love my family. My husband and children bring me such joy. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can live again and through the sealing power found in the temple we can live with our families again forever. I am so grateful for this knowledge. I will see my mother again. I can have my sweetheart and children with me for all eternity. Heavenly Father wants us to be happy. He guides our lives in so many ways. Even our worst trials, including the loss of a loved one, is meant to lead us down the path to true happiness. He has always been there for me. I know I am loved and known.

How I live my faith

I have the best job in the whole Church. I get to teach music to the children. There is no better way to feel Heavenly Father's love for you, to be touched by His Spirit. It is so beautiful to hear such truths in such plain and simple forms. The songs they sing and with the sincerity they put into them can touch your heart. The children help you to grow and learn as they do.
