Hi I'm Garrett

I'm from Minnesota, love anything sports related, a huge Yankees fan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Tempe, Arizona. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota called Chaska. After graduating from High School I attended college at Utah Valley University for a year and a half before leaving out here to Arizona for my mission. Growing up I played baseball all year round even in Minnesota! Probably one past time that will never leave my life. I love playing or watching any kind of sports! Some other things I enjoy doing is going out boating, fishing, and just being with friends and family. I'm an out going person who loves just getting to know people from all different backgrounds. After my mission I am planning on reurning back to Utah to finish up school then hopefully get back to Minnesota!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church in an active LDS family. For a time I lost my way from the Church but for me that was the greatest blessing in my life. It showed me that I needed the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and that I had something special in my life right in front of me the whole time that so many people are without. I gained a testimony and a witness of what our saviour Jesus Christ did for each of us while he was here on this earth. I gained for myself a witness that Christ's church, in which he established 2000 years ago, is once again on the earth and was restored through a prophet. I have seen the importance of having a prophet called of God who can recieve direction for the entire world. Each of us can know that Christ has restored his church again on the earth by simply prayerfully reading a book. A book that was prepared for our time that each of us may know that Jesus is the Christ and Our Heavenly Father is the same yesterday, today and forever. Something that I came to find out for myself and blesses me each and every day. Everyday I get to experience the peace and joy in knowing that I'm walking the exact path that my Heavenly Father wants me to walk. The same path which my Saviour walks with me on daily.

How I live my faith

The best way I live my faith is by living what I believe and trying to be an example of Christ. Helping out others when they are in need of help and standing as a witness of Christ at all times and in all places. Serving a full-time mission right now for the Church has also been a great way to show people what it is that my faith is all about.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The only way to know is to pray. Anybody can walk up to you on the street and tell you something but in no way does that mean its true. There is one person know who knows the truthfullness of all things and that is our Heavenly Father. He has promised us to always answer our prayers if we pray with real intent.
