Hi I'm Trent Ingram

I love to play guitar, I'm happy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family consisting of one younger brother and two older sisters. I live with my mom and dad and have three little nephews. I love playing sports and doing anything outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and camping are some of my favorite things to do. I have a HUGE passion for music, I love to sing and play guitar and actually play in a country band. I am probably the biggest country music fan in the world, however, I do love all different kinds of music as well. I really just enjoy going out with friends, playing a good game of basketball, or playing guitar around a campfire. I attended college for two semesters studying for my generals.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon means everything to me. I would be so lost and MUCH less happy without this gospel and that is one of the biggest reasons I continue to follow it. I have been so blessed in every aspect of my life and can honestly say that even though life is not easy and not completely fun and games all the time, I can always still find joy and peace no matter what is happening in my life. I am such a happier person and enjoy life so much more because I have this gospel and I follow it. Being happy is a huge reason for me following this gospel but this wouldn't mean much if it weren't for the main reason that I am a Mormon and that is because I know that it is true. In this life there are a lot of things to be uncertain about, but if I know one thing for sure, it is that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God on the earth today and that by following it's standards I am blessed and am happy. I know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going if I follow His commandments. I know this without any shadow of a doubt. There is always help, comfort, peace, and happiness accessible to anyone as long as they accept this gospel. I want EVERYONE to have the same chance to be as happy as I am and enjoy the blessings that come from living in the Church. I am a Mormon and I am proud of it!

How I live my faith

I am an eagle scout and have participated in setting up our annual town days. I served on our stake youth committee and helped plan activities for the youth around my area to do several times a year. I have served as president of my 12 year old youth group, first councilor of my 14 year old youth group, and second councilor of my 16 to 18 group. I do have to say though, one of my favorite callings was "head grub master" of my boy scout group. My job was to plan and prepare all of our meals on scout camps, we ate well to say the least. I also have been a regular home teacher for other members of my ward and have participated in high school and community service projects.
