Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona, and I love it there. From an early age I've been involved with music, and it has become a huge part of my life. I'm very passionate about playing drums, and am pursuing a degree in jazz performance. I also enjoy playing guitar and piano, as well as any other instruments I can get my hands on. Recording music is something else I love doing, and hope to continue doing that in the future. Recording music gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for music with the more scientific side of me. I'm currently serving in the California Fresno Mission as a full-time missionary. I love this opportunity to be completely commited to serving others, it has braught so much joy to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I didn't seek religion very earnestly. I had a basic understanding of who Jesus Christ was, but I didn't really comprehend what he had done, and what his purpose was. I was raised in Arizona, which has it's fare share of Mormons. Throughout junior high and into high school, some of my closest friends were members of the church and set a great example for me. Through them I saw that they had something unique about them, and as I got older I realized how much I wanted to be like them. My junior year of high school I was formally introduced to the church, and after going to church for the first time I loved it. I began meeting with the missionaries and read from the Book of Mormon frequently. As I pondered on the things that I had heard and read, I knew that the church was true. I have seen my life change in some incredible ways since I made the choice to be baptized and do my best to follow Christ.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I spend all of my time inviting others to come unto Christ. I share a message that helps others to build their faith on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. There is no better feeling than being able to help other people come to the knowledge that Christ lives, and to help them bring their life into harmony with his gospel. I had the opportunity at one point to teach the 6 year-olds in Sunday School, and I'm grateful for that opportunity. Having a strong foundation at a young age really helps prepare us for everything we will face in the future. It amazes me how great an understanding a 6 year-old can have of Jesus Christ.
