Hi I'm Christian

I'm a poet. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I guess I'll just dive right in: as I'm writing this, I'm a senior in high school. I'm younger than most of the other students in my grade, but I don't look it, so it's okay. I enjoy writing, whether it be poetry, short stories, or rap lyrics. Which is kinda interesting, since I don't know of any other Mormons who rap seriously. I try to write about subjects that are meaningful to me. Rap doesn't have to be full of profanity or about degrading women or drugs, which is something that not a lot of people consider. For me, rap is just another form of expression, just like any other form of music or poetry. And while a lot of rappers rap about being somebody they're not, I try to stay as genuine as I can, and as honest as I can. Maybe someday I can turn rap into a side-career. I'm told that I'm good at it :D I also produce electronic music on my computer--most people would label it as "techno" although it isn't really. But I've been doing it for a couple years, and with the cheap music software I've got, I'm doing all right. You know, it's interesting--whereas rap is my form of expression, electronic music satisfies my need for experimentation. I'm allowed total freedom, to create whatever I choose. It's a lot of work but it's very rewarding. So, yeah. I'm a musician.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I've been learning my whole life about Christ and His teachings, how much our Heavenly Father loves His children, and the fundamentals of the Gospel. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and that He loves us. The Holy Spirit has born testimony to me that these things are true. Even though everybody makes mistakes, we all have the opportunity to repent and have those sins erased from our lives. We're all human and humans aren't perfect--I know I've made my fair share of dumb decisions--but we can be made clean before the Lord if we humble ourselves and change our desires. With the knowledge I've gained from this Gospel, I feel hope for the future. I know that if I'm going through any hard times that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and I can receive strength and comfort if needed.

How I live my faith

-I try my hardest to make good decisions for my life--not doing things that I'll regret later. -I attend weekly Mutual activities (which are activities meant to better the Youth). -I go to and partake in church every Sunday. -I try to teach others about the church if they want to know more. -I try to be nice to everyone and include others.
