Hi I'm Kevin

I am a warehouse supervisor, a proud father of 3 girls, and a happy husband. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have always been attracted to the simple things in this life: *Sitting down at a Sunday dinner and having the kids play in the back round *BBQing and hearing everybody laugh while getting compliments on my grilling skills *Having a job I love *Having a happy, healthy family These things in life I have been able to accomplish so far, but it hasn't been without a lot of work. Maintaining a happy, healthy family is one of the hardest things I have done in my life, but it is also the most rewarding. Every single day I get to wake up and play with my 3 little girls before I go to work and it is the greatest blessing to do so. Every day I get to hang out with my wife and share my dreams with her. Having the love of a beautiful spouse is another huge blessing. I have been so abundantly blessed in this lifetime. At times I almost feel that I don't deserve so many blessings, but in the end I know that that is God's ultimate goal; "To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of Man" -Moses 1:39. In the end I seek after what most men seek after: family, friends, purpose, and love.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I had every reason to not be a Mormon. I was raised in the church but experienced tremendous sadness in my home due to drugs, and alcohol by different family members. But when I did go to church as a child I saw many happy families. These different families took me under their wing and made me a part of a bigger family. They were kind, patient, loving, and humble. I watched and learned as I grew. When I became and adult I decided that since some of the greatest men and women that I had ever met were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I needed to embrace this church. This Church continually challenges me to represent Jesus Christ. It continually challenges me to be a better man. Just like a parent does with their child, God wants us to grow continually and never stop learning. I am a Mormon because I feel wonderful when I am at church. I feel the spirit of God when I live the principles that I am taught. I am a Mormon because this church has all the principles and ordinances necessary to help me return to my Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I have asked God if this church is true...and he has answered yes, again and again. I love Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true scripture and that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet. If you have read this, then I thank you for your time.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I have the great responsibility to be with the little kids at Church. It is my pleasure to watch little children so that their parents can attend Sunday School. For 2 hours I get to play and teach on a very casual basis. The children are so sweet and give me a continual reminder of what Jesus said. "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 19:14.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

All Christians agree that our body is a Temple. If we believe that, then it is easy to see why Mormons do not use Tobacco, Alcohol, Coffee, Tea, or drugs. We want to keep our body healthy, pure, and worthy to have the Holy Ghost. It is as simple as that. Show more Show less
