Hi I'm Jon

I grew up in San Diego, Ca. I am currently going to school in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in college in Idaho. I love it up here. I am an avid sports fan, and love Ohio State Football, as well as San Diego State Football. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and I love to look for ways to help people. I am a single student, but I have several nieces and nephews and I love to hang out with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. First, I know that this church is led by the Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that the Lord loves all of His children, and look for ways to bless our lives, if we will just ask for His help. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. There is a peace in my life even when it seems that everything is going wrong. I can turn to the Savior in prayer, and I can receive comfort and guidance for my life. I know that there is a prophet on the earth, Thomas S. Monson, who has been called of Jesus Christ to help all of His children. We live in a time with a prophet, just like those who lived in Biblical times. We are blessed.

How I live my faith

Every day I strive to improve my life and live closer to the Saviors teachings. I am far from perfect, but I can truly say that every day I try to improve from the day before. I try to love those I come in contact with. I try to not judge people for any reason. I am trying to model my life after the Savior Himself. It is difficult, but it is a goal worth working towards. I know that where I fall short, I can call upon the Savior and ask for forgiveness through His glorious Atonement. I know that the Atonement is real and I use it everyday to help strengthen and purify me. These are some of the ways that I live my faith everyday.

In whom should we have faith?

We should focus faith in the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we are able to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. It is He who can cleanse us of our sins through His glorious Atonement. We must have faith in Him, or else we truly have nothing. Show more Show less
