Hi I'm Chantel

I am a wife, mother and nurse! I grew up in a small town called Taylor. I love to play sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mom, and nurse. I love each of these roles! I was born with out a right foot. I love to play volleyball and basketball but any sport will do. I enjoy snowboarding every winter. I also really enjoy baking even though I am not the best at it and by the end of big baking projects I am ready to be done. I like trying new things and am always up for anything!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it contains the full teachings of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is a wonderful and true testiment of Christ, just like the Bible. I have been a member all of my life. When I was younger I lived off my parents testimonies. I trusted that they knew it was true. I leaned on them while I was working on gaining my own testimony. As I got older I did not have to lean on my parents testimonies as much. I knew for myself completely that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true. Knowing this does not always make it easy to always do the right thing all the time. That is why we are hear on the earth together. To learn and grown, lean on eachother when needed and over time get better at being better. I love the gospel teaching and I know through my savior, Jesus Christ I can repent of my sins and be forgiven. I believe in the plan of salvation and am so glad I have my saviors help each day to help me become more like him during my time on this earth.

How I live my faith

All of my church callings thus far have been with the youth of the chruch. I have taught them on Sundays and helped plan activites for them to do during the week. Some activites are just fun games but most involve learning a new skill or serving someone in the ward. Right now my current calling is awesome. I am the young womens sports director. I coach them during softball and volleyball. I love to watch them play and just have fun. Our ward does lots of service projects for our community. We have community cleans ups through out the year. All of us women also have a chance to get out of the house once a month to do crafts! It is always fun and there is always someone there to teach you if you dont know how to do what we are doing that day. I love having a family out side my family. That is what my ward is. No matter what were I have lived or what ward I have been in, each one has treated my like family.
