Hi I'm Amy Jo Hadlock

I grew up in Washington state. I'm a wife and a mother of two young boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and mother of two young boys. I love softball. I quilt, garden, can and sew. I also teach piano lessons. I have lived in Washington state, Idaho, Utah, Kentucky, Arizona, Taiwan and Bolivia.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church. I have been a member all my life. My parents are both converts. I have served a mission for the church in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I taught people about Christ, the Book of Mormon and the restoration of the church. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the father and Jesus Christ His son and that he restored Christ's church. I know that the Bible and Book of Mormon are God's words through His prophets. I know God hears our prayers. I know that we are children of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I know Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and rose the 3rd day. I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of this church. I am a Mormon because it gives me hope in this life and purpose. I am a Mormon because there is a prophet guiding this church.

How I live my faith

I pray with my family every day. I teach my children how to pray. I read my scriptures. Most of all I try and go around doing good, like the Savior would. Every month I visit three sisters or women and see how they are doing and give them a spiritual message. I have a companion and we are great friends. I play the piano each Sunday at church for the women's group. I love the hymns of this church, they were written with inspiration.
