Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a twin, I love my friends/family, I'm kinda into working out (and trying to not get fat while on my mission) and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My birth mom was 16 when she had us. She tried to keep us by adopting us out to family members several times. As hard as it was for her she did what she thought was best and adopted my twin and I out at the age of one. She couldn't have been more right, her two sons, my brother and I grew up doing very well; thanks to the warm and loving care of our adoptive parents. We were active in school, sports, and the community, and eventually got into a university. My brother and I are now currently serving our missions in Brazil. (sorry I know this is an about me section but with out him there is no me and vis versa; we're best buds)

Why I am a Mormon

When my friends ask why I'm Mormon I kind of answer them like this... Well I feel that life mirrors religion in many ways for instance when you do good you are rewarded and when you do bad not so much, it's the same way with God. Now in some parts of life we have a choice whether to pick the easy way or the hard way. These choices aren't always good or bad; they just have different consequences. The best example of this is when picking and attending classes at school: you can select a basic class or an accelerated; AP class. Most of the time people stick with the basics and things go fine but as for those that pick the harder class they are rewarded with scholarships to college and the like. So basically I think being a Mormon is like "AP church", I want to chose the harder and stricter path so that I can gain that special reward in the end. (side note: I've come to learn that Mormons are like a great big family and this is attractive to most people; this being a member of a bigger family and felling more important/loved also helped in my convertsion. (For me M and her family was my real motivation)

How I live my faith

This one is pretty easy: I read and study about the church daily, with the help of great member familys, (such as Bower family) I am constantly motivated to stay true to what I belive, I try to set the best example I can, I always try to be better today then I was yesterday, and at present I'm acting on my faith by serving a two year mission spreading the word to my brothers and sisters in Brazil. (and North Carolina I'm a visa waiter)
