Hi I'm Cecelea

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah until I was12. I stand as an example of love to my friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family and I move to Florida when I was 12. I''v just graduated High School. I've been blessed by the people around me as they stood as witnesses of God. I'm I musician I currently play the trumpet, some piano and am learning the violin. I love to hang out with friends and family, as long as we have fun I'm good as gold. I have a bleeding heart, I hate seeing people in pain and will try to help any way I can. Being the middle child in my family I've had to work hard to get what I want. That has helped me grow as a person. I'm barely getting over my shyness and with help I'll be as out going as the rest of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been privileged to be born into the Church and have felt the Spirit through out my life. Nothing in this world could compare to the love of our God. I'm still amazed that He loves His children so much that He would send His Son to atone for our sins. I choose to stay a member because I've never meet anyone who is so sacrificing, so loving, and caring as the people in my wards. I've felt the prompting of Heavenly Father and I know that the Church is true. The only place I truly felt accepted and loved(besides my family) is at church and church activities. I'm Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and that reading and studying it will show the truth. The prophets are called of God to guide us in these latter days. I know I'm a daughter of God and that I have a divine destiny to comfort and love all of His children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living what I've been taught as a child. My parents always taught me to help those in need and to be an example to my friends and the rest of the world. When I was 17 I was called to be the class president of the young women( girls ages 12-18). That calling make me want to be a better example to the younger girls and to help them with their struggles. I try to live in accordance wit the truths I know to be true. I frequently ask myself 'would The Savior approve?'.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

I believe that Jesus Christ is our Older Brother, our Savior, and the Son of God. I believe that Jesus sacrificed himself so we can be forgiven of our sins. I believe that through his resurrection we can be resurrected in the last days. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony, to me, is what you believe and know about the gospel and God. A testimony is a rock for the hard times, as well as the good times. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

We baptize new members because we need to be baptized by someone who has the authority to do so. A priesthood holder has the authority of God. Baptism is a covenant with God, to become followers of Christ, to take His name upon us, and to keep his commandments all the days of our lives. Show more Show less
