Hi I'm Brianna

I was a medical assistant, but now a mother of 4. Oldest 3 kiddos all have autism. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a full time working Medical Assistant for 8 years. I quit when our first born was frequently ill. Since then I have had the pleasure of being a full time stay at home mom. We have 4 kids. The oldest two were diagnosed with autism while I was pregnant with the third. Then he came shortly after at 6 weeks premature. We have recently discovered he also suffers from autism. I also just recently had another adorable baby boy in May. So far he is meeting milestones :) Our lives are filled with therapies and school on a daily basis. It was tough in the begining but we've seemed to have gotten our "groove". Our children mean the world to us! They are the ones constantly teaching US! The autism journey is a tough one! But I am so grateful I have the knowledge of the gospel to help us get through our hard days and actually ENJOY the journey!

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing that brings greater happiness in my life than my membership in the church! The teachings of the church have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, provided knowledge of God's plan for me personally, and simply makes me a much better person than I would be otherwise. The commandments keep me safe. I love knowing that God is the same as in olden times and continues to speak today through a living prophet. I am able to see the hand of God in my life on a daily basis. This is the only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth—a bold statement, but I have learned for myself through thoughts & feelings as I have seriously studied the Book of Mormon and Bible, prayed, and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life. My life is challenging on a daily basis. I have 3 special needs children. With out the knowledge of the TRUE gospel, I don't think I would EVER make it through our "hard" days. I am so grateful to know that these special spirits were sent to me. That the Lord has entrusted them to ME. So it is MY duty to make sure I teach them the true and everlasting gospel.

How I live my faith

We attend our church meetings every week! Our kids LOVE to go to their Primary classes. We have family prayer and scripture study. We also once a week have Family Home Evening where we get together have a short lesson about our Savior, Jesus Christ. And to make special time to be together as a family!
