Hi I'm Robyn

I'm many things, but most importantly, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Currently my most time consuming and important job is raising my two little kids and being a wife to my husband. I underestimated how much I would love being a wife and mother! Watching my children learn and grow is facinating and I'm so grateful for a husband who works along my side. Some other things I love to do are traveling, camping, eating and socializing! Meeting people empowers me, I love spending time with friends and family! And, I love to bake!

Why I am a Mormon

I know true happiness only comes when I follow Jesus Christ and His gospel. In a world that seems so uncertain at times, I can also hold fast to the promises of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, that no matter what, all will be well. My parents and extended family have been great examples of true disciples of Jesus Christ and I want to continue that legacy for my own family, friends and neighbors. The Gospel is true. It brings hope and joy to everyone who live it. Jesus Christ lived, died and was resurrected so we could all live again. There is a purpose to our lives on earth, to prove ourselves worthy so we can return to live with our Father in Heaven and our elder brother Jesus Christ. They love us and want what is best for us. We are here to learn and grow, so we can become like them.

How I live my faith

I try and follow the counsel to "go about doing good". Sometimes this seems like an exhausting and daunting task with everything else going on in life, but I've learned that it can be the small things that can make a differnence in the lives of people around me. I try and make eye contact and smile at people I come in contact with each day. We never know what someone is going through and if I can make someone else happy by sharing a smile or a kind word, I know that is what Jesus Christ would want me to do. Daily prayer and scripture study help me set the tone for what really matters each day, and reminds me of what I should be focusing on: helping and lifting my family, friends and neighbors.
