Hi I'm Ryan

I love my wife, kids, family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Texas. I love all sports and being a Texans, I especially love football. I love to spend time with my family and am very good a winning against my brothers in anything that can be considered competitive. After a year of college, I served as a missionary in the northwest corner of Washington state. It was an incredible experience that helped me to grow in my relationship with my Savior and help invite others to come unto Christ. After these 2 years of service, I finished my degree and run a local business. I have a beautiful wife that I love and adore. We have been blessed with the 2 cutest sons that we enjoy more than anything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that is strong in the LDS faith. I have been blessed with many examples around me of those who love the Lord and live their beliefs. Though I was blessed to be raised in the LDS church, I still needed to develop my own relationship with God and find out what He would have me do and how He would have me live my life. Prior to serving as a missionary, I earnestly wanted to know for myself that the teachings of the church were true. Through sincere study and prayer, I was able to receive a confirmation of my beliefs by the power of the Holy Ghost. As I have continued in these beliefs, continually witnessing the fruits of the gospel reaffirms to me these truths.

How I live my faith

I love that I can attend church to strengthen my personal testimony as well as have the opportunity to help lift those around me. I have been blessed to serve within the church. Most of my church service has been within the missionary aspect of the gospel. After serving as a full time missionary, I have served in many local congregations in assisting the current full time missionaries in their efforts. Often this involves helping them find, teach and fellowship those searching for the gospel. I have taught many missionary prep classes to help others gain confidence and comfort in sharing the gospel. I have also been blessed to help teach 7-8 year old children. All of my opportunities have been a blessing, even when I couldn't recognize it at first.
