Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a writer. I love doing genealogy. I'm a nerd, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a Bachelor's degree in creative writing with minors in theater and American history. I also have a certificate in publishing. I like to write, sing, and do family history. I'm also a fan of nerdy things like Doctor Who and the Legend of Zelda video game series.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel gives me strength, hope, and peace that I could not get from any other source. It helps me to be the kind of person that I want to be--the kind of person that my Heavenly Father wants me to be. It reminds me that I am a daughter of God, that I am loved, and that I can find strength in my Heavenly Father and Savior when I don't have the strength to move forward on my own.

How I live my faith

I love the opportunities to serve in the church. Sometimes we need that extra kick in the pants to do something for someone else, and it's always so rewarding. Whether it's singing in the choir, volunteering to clean the church building, teaching Sunday school lessons, or sorting potatoes at the food bank, you always feel so good when you're serving others. And it can be so much fun! You become united with those you serve with. The gospel is like one big family. Currently I'm living my faith by serving a mission in the Romania/Moldova mission, and I'm loving it!
