Hi I'm Colin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a College Student, and I try to be active out in the world. I always enjoy a good ride out in the desert in my Jeep, and never pass an opportunity to be out in the wilderness. I played Lacrosse, for the college I am attending, I sing in choirs, and love to make music. I enjoy the wonderful talents that God has given me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, and like a majority of members, had to find my own conversion. When I served a full time mission for the Church and for the Lord, I really came to know, understand and love the Lord, His Gospel, and His Church. I prayed to our Heavenly Father, and asked if the Gospel was true, if the holy scriptures were true, if His Son, Jesus Christ is real, and is our Savior. Through His answers, and many experiences, I know that the Gospel is true, the holy scriptures are true, and that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer and Savior, the very Son of God. I continue to live the Gospel because I know that's where the true happiness lies. The truth of life is that we are learning to become like Christ and that is what gives me great happiness and peace. Little by little, change by change, I know that I can be like Christ and live with Him, and my family in eternity.

How I live my faith

In the Church, I serve as a Choir Director, and as a Sunday School Class Instructor. I love the opportunities that I have to serve others, to teach and to lead, and I believe the principle of service is central to the Church and Gospel. We show our love through selfless service, and can build that love through sacrifice. The Lord gives us these opportunities to teach us how to serve and love. In addition to Church service, I like to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and to build homes for low income families. Kindness, Love, and Service, are how I live my Faith in Christ.
