Hi I'm Jill.

I'm a stay-at-home mom with 2 kids. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My current full time work is being a mother. I have 2 beautiful children I treasure and want to raise in a respectful way. I love being with my family. I love to cook and eat. I went to college for art and occasionally still do some painting. We love to go camping and do things outdoors as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and therefore was baptized when I was 8 years old. I always believed in the church because my family had such strong testimonies and I trusted their beliefs. I gained a personal strong testimony of the gospel before I got married. My future husband, at the time, helped me study and understand the Book of Mormon in a way I'd never been able to before. I became really close to God. Since then I married my sweetheart in the Seattle temple, a sacred place, and we have 2 children we are now raising in the church. I'm not perfect, and my testimony falters sometimes but everytime I turn to God and pray faithfully I can feel his love for me. And right now, I spend my days serving him by serving His children.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in my ward as the ward bulletin display specialist. I put recent photos up of people in the ward from church related activities on the bulletin board so everyone can see what we are up to as a ward family. I also have 3 woman I visit monthly to check in and give a spiritual message to. I love them dearly and look forward to our visits.
