Hi I'm Jennifer Lynn Bramlett

Austin, TX native, mother, photographer, actress and artist. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in the big eclectic world of Austin , TX where I started acting at 15. After going to college in Los Angeles, CA for Fashion design and business I grew a love of writing, photography and art and I have never looked back. I eventually made my way back home where I met my wonderful husband who is a very talented Welder. After years of thinking I was not capable the Lord gave me my hearts desire almost one after another which is our 3 beautiful girls, he also brought my wonderful stepson into my life. My oldest daughter was born blind and later diagnosed with Autism. Every time I watch her overcome adversity while still remaining unclouded by the world's prejudices I am reminded what it truly means to be Christ like and understand why she was brought into my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up not having a very positive and uplifting family environment so when I went off to college it was an escape as much as it was an educational adventure. Through my many trials growing up I always had a relationship with Heavenly father. He was my best friend and when times were tough I knew I could turn to him, he would make them better. Being away from home did not change that relationship, I still relied on him to hold my hand. He held my hand so often that he ended up leading my hand right into the hand of the wonderful person who introduced me to the church. The first visit before becoming a member I was surrounded with more love than I could have ever imagined, within the walls of the my ward was a family willing to love me, willing to accept me as I was. I felt the spirit of my father in Heaven all around me, when I read the Book of Mormon for the first time I could almost physically feel his embrace and the whisper of his voice in my ear. I have never doubted the truthfulness of the Mormon Church. Through not only the Bible but the Book of Mormon the Lord has spoken to me, answered my prayers and been my ally when times were tough. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought me closer to Christ in more ways than I could ever have imagined!

How I live my faith

I try each and every day to lead by the example that Christ has set forth for me. I do it not for the blessings that may or may not follow, I do it because helping my friends, family and neighbors is the right thing to do. It makes me happy to see other people happy , healthy and comfortable. And I do my very best to teach my children this same kind of love and respect for everyone they know.
