Hi I'm Ron Mulberry

I am a business owner, Boy Scout leader, grandpa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like a “Mission Impossible” agent, I like to organize teams and take on challenging projects. For fun, I was a basketball coach and High Scool official. I am involved in the community helping build an all-volunteer emergency communications network of HAM radio operators…ready to provide assist in a time of disaster. In business, I worked in large corporations managing special projetcs and helped launch several startup ventures, each with unique challenges. Currently, I am helping a startup technology company sell services to municipalities aimed at lessening the burden of foreclosed, vacant properties. I am a husband (nearly 50 years), father of 5 and “grandpa” to 21…now there is a intersting challenge!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had a wonderful spiritual experience when I was a senior in High School. I decided to test God's promise found in the scriptures that He would verify the truth of all things if I asked with real intent. I was reading the Book of Mormon and I wanted to know if it was true. I decided that, since I was graduating and leaving home, an answer to this question was the most important thing for me to know. If it were true, that would answer for me all the big questions in life. So, I decided to fast and pray until I got an answer...no matter how long it took! After two days I received a powerful witness. That moment changed my life. Since then, I have intellectually and practically tested every aspect of Mormonism and found it to be true and following its precepts have made me very happy. I am a better husband and father and citizen because of what I have learned and experienced within the Mormon community. I love the restored Gospel and working in the church suits my personality. There are so many opportunities in the Mormon Church to serve and to tackle challenging assignments.

How I live my faith

I have found Mormonism to be a very practical faith to live by. Serving in the Church is like attending a life-long university. I have served in many challenging callings include Boy Scout Leader, youth teacher, counselor and administrator. Each calling was a new learning experience helping me to be a better person and better prepared to deal with life's challenges. As a leader assigned over multi-congregations, I had to learn to speak to large audiences. As an Executive Secretary, I learned how to organize and conduct planning meetings of leaders representing multiple organizations and how to get others to follow through on assignments. I have been taught the principals of provident living, which has helped prepare me temporally by becoming self-reliant. I have learned that all things are spiritual, even food storage and preparedness. Living an active Mormon life has provide me with temporal and spiritual learning experiences that are preparing me for this life and the life to come.
