Hi I'm Danielle

I am a wife and mother of three. I am a runner. I own a small fitness facility. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are living the student life as he is currently getting his MBA. We have three beautiful and very energetic children. We own a small gym with some friends and have a great love for fitness and sports. I was a runner in college and want to travel the country by running half marathons. I believe it is never too late to develop a talent or try something new. I am currently taking piano lessons at age 31 after quitting after six months in the 6th grade:O) I love my family. I love being a mother. Some of my happiest moments are just when I am playing and being together with my children!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith but that's not why I am currently a Mormon. My testimony began as a young girl when I realized how much God loves me and that He is in the details of my life. I often share a story that was a testimony builder for me back when I was running track in high school. It was a major goal my junior year to make it to the California State Meet. I remember I was at track-meet that was a qualifier for the State Meet and I was really worried that day because I was sick. As I was warming up for my race I had the thought that I needed to pray and ask Heavenly Father to help me. I found a secluded spot on the field and I asked that I would be able to do well and accomplish the goal I had set for myself. During my race that day, I felt a strength in my body that was not my own and I ended up winning my race. A local coach in the area came up to me after my race and said that for being sick I had really run a great race. I laughed and told him that I had just been praying that I would do well. He sort of smiled and said, "I don't think God really cares about track and field!" I smiled back and said, "I know. He probably doesn't. But I know he cares about me!" Understanding that I am a daughter of God is a really precious truth in my life. Knowing that a loving Heavenly Father cares about me and the things that I care about is an intricate part of my testimony. I knew as a youth that I couldn't only rely on the testimony of my parents. I understood that a testimony was something that I had to gain and develop myself. So with the knowledge that God loved me I was able to identify the spirit when I finally read the Book of Mormon cover to cover at 19 years old. I knew that book was true. The same spirit that bore witness to me that God cares about me, let me know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. That knowledge is life changing. It's why I am who I am today.

How I live my faith

Working with the youth seems to be my calling in life. I love teaching girls about their divine worth to a loving Father in Heaven.
