Hi I'm Eryn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, and I am a Registered Dietitian. I am a newlywed (May 12, 2011). I teach an early morning scripture class to high school students in my area. I love to read, sleep, listen to country music, and hang out with my husband. I hope to one day have children of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church by faithful parents who live their lives according to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a teenager, I began to question my own beliefs and to wonder if God truly existed and knew who I was. After many days and nights of studying the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father, I received an unmistakeable answer that He lives and that He loves me as His own daughter. He wants me to return to live with Him, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only Church on the earth that has the authority to provide the necessary saving ordinances to achieve that purpose. These were given from Jesus Christ to his servants the prophets. Knowing these things has given me great peace, and a sense of purpose in every phase and trial of my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by treating everyone around me with respect and kindness. I try to be a good example to my friends and coworkers by living the principles that Jesus Christ has taught. Within the Church, I teach a class of 5 year olds who are full of energy and enthusiasm. I am impressed by the knowledge and faith that they already have- they know that they are children of God and that their Heavenly Father loves them. I also know that this is true, and I never doubt for a moment that God listens to and answers my prayers. I want everyone around me to know that they have access to such a wonderful source of power and love.
