Hi I'm Cindy

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man and we have two great kids. They are both adults now. My older son is from a previous marriage. His dad died in a car accident. My husband has been a great dad to both of them. I love going up north to quad ride. I work as a court clerk for the judges. I'm am very funny. At least I think I am. I love to make people laugh. I have a fart machine at work. It does the trick. I usually get the new people with it. I get up and go on a walk/run at 5:00 a.m. It's my time I spend with God singing to Him and praying to Him. I have a gift from God. A gift of ideas. I'm working on one right now with an engineer. We hope to have it out soon. Hope to be able to share it with you soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was looking for something. Missionaries showed up at my front door one day and they looked awfully thirsty. I let them in to get some cold water and they were really nice. I knew that they went around spreading the gospel, but I did not know that they were Mormon. I was invited to the church and I really liked how family oriented they were and how the church is structured and very orderly. The missionaries gave me the lessons and I was baptized in August of 1999. Years ago, but not to many, I believe that is when my conversion took place. One of the bishops told us to be in tuned with the spirit. I wanted to believe in God, really I did. I started making sure Sundays were kept holy. (not spending money on that day) Obeyed each and every commandment and something happened one morning. I looked in the mirror and I looked mighty yellow. I thought I had hepatites. I had this bright yellow glow and laughed and cried at the same time because I knew that was the spirit of God. There is a feeling I get along with tunnel vision and that is how I know the spirit is with me. I never knew what that was. I had it for years, but not as strong as that morning. So that is what the bishop meant, to be in tuned with the spirit. As long as I'm doing things that are good in His eyes He doesn't leave me. It's a wonderful feeling. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where there is order, structure and where it's very family oriented. Jesus Christ is my Savior and I believe the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Never thought I could forgive and love people that have been mean to me or hurt me so bad, but I have forgiven and I do love them. As long as I keep the commandments of God I will be blessed.
