Hi I'm Sariah

I'm a daughter, sister, and friend living in Utah. But mostly, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a teenager working on obtaining an education and becoming a published writer. I have the best friends and family in the world, and I love them a ton. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in homework, especially during soccer and musical season, but I'm glad for the opportunity I have to learn. My favorite class is Seminary, even though I'm the only girl in my class. I also love English and Orchestra, I play violin, and absolutely love it. I also love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it keeps me alive. Day to day, I worry about my grades slipping and my friendships falling. But because of what I've been taught growing up, I know that if I try my hardest and trust in the lord, I can accomplish anything he wants me too. I have recently discovered that praying before a test really DOES help, and that Heavenly Father really does want me to do my best. I'm a Mormon because I've felt the Holy Ghost. Sometimes, when I wonder about what the church is, and how it could possibly be true, I just need to remember that feeling, then I realize that I will learn everything I need to when the time is right. I have felt the spirit tell me that this church is true. I am a Mormon simply because I know. I have felt the truthfullness of the Savior's atonement, as well as the restoration of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

Most mornings I text out a scripture to my friends. Most of them members, a couple of them not. I try to wake up early so that I can have time to read my scriptures before I start my day, so I can have that strength throughout the day rather than waiting until night. I go through the day randomly bursting into songs I've learned at church, and therefore my friends know most of them too. Seminary is my favorite class, and I try and participate every day.
