Hi I'm Geoffrey

I'm a Mormon. I believe in Jesus Christ. And I believe people can benefit from belief in Him.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and attend college, and I served a mission for the Church in St. Petersburg, Russia. I cannot stop learning and spend my time studying the Gospel as well as business, cinematography/video production, ballroom dance, linguistics, and music composition, plus a little bit of piano, psychology, and general artistic performance. My family consists of my mom, my dad, my two younger sisters and younger brother, and a papillon dog. My life in three words? Content, ambitious, and happy. :-)

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I receive direction in my life through the Holy Ghost, known as the Testator or Witness. More than anything, I'm grateful for the life I'm able to live. All I want in the world is to stand by God.

How I live my faith

At one point in my life I came to myself a little. I realized what I'd been taught, that God knows everything, He can do anything, He is our Father, He loves His children and wants us to grow up to be like Him—and I believed it for sure. I thought, "If that's all true, and there's no reason not to live like God would want me to, why not do it?" Now I do my best to do just want God wants. I take direction through answers to prayer, counsel from prophets, advice from inspired men and women (including my family, friends, leaders and teachers), and what my heart tells me—hunches, instinct, or whatever you want to call it. I'm not afraid of what will happen when I do right because only things that lead to happiness can come now. I firmly believe that God doesn't require anyone to sin. A sinless life is both perfect and possible through obedience to the laws of the Son, wrought by His mercy, and through sincere change. In short: Being a Mormon changes my life for good.
