Hi I'm Nate

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nate, I am a lucky husband, a happy father, a proud brother, a grateful son, a competitive hockey player, a software salesman, an easy going guy, and a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long lineage of Mormon ancestory, leading back to crossing the plains in the pioneer companies. My parents taught me about this lineage at a very young age, and raised me to understand who my Savior is, his life story, and that he loves me. They taught me to love and cherish the Book of Mormon. My father taught me by example what it means to be a loving father, caring husband, and disciple of Christ. My mother taught me how to love and serve others, have patience and be obedient to the Lord's commandments. I am grateful to have the Gospel in my life. It has always filled me full of hope and faith during cloudy times of life. It has taught me to overcome adversity. It has taught me to strive to be the best that I can in all aspects of my life. Nothing brings me more joy than knowing that my Savior loves me, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and that I can live eternally with my family.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to work with young men in my ward ages 16-18. I teach and guide them with the intent to help each and every one of them have the desire to serve an honorable full-time mission when they reach the appropriate age. I am also on the scouting committee, pushing these same young men to achieve their Eagle Scout award. This award represents an attitude of service, a knowledge of the outdoors, a respect of morality, and a life-long committment to self-improvement. These wonderful young men teach me much more than I could ever teach them - what a wonderful calling to be involved with the young men of my ward.
