Hi I'm Brittany D.

I'm a Mormon.I am married, mother of 4 and expecting my 5th. My kids keep me busy as a stay at home mom. Families are great.

About Me

I grew up in the Midwest and AZ during my childhood. I have lived in all of the “I” states. We currently live in Georgia. I am an RN but not currently working. I enjoyed being an RN and helping in the healing process for those who are ill or recovering from surgery. I also enjoyed working with the mom’s and babies in the NICU. I am currently a full time homemaker. It is a very challenging job but I can see snippets of successes as I watch my children make good choices and succeed in their talents. When I have time and physically can, I enjoy playing basketball and volleyball. I like to smock, bake and preserve fruits and veggies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful for the knowledge of my purpose here on earth. There is a plan for me and why I am here and where I came from before my birth and where I have the opportunity to return. The knowledge of this plan for each one of us is taught and part of the gospel teachings found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe that we have an opportunity if we make correct choices and strive to do our best and serve others that we have the opportunity to return to live with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the knowledge that there is a plan for when we are not perfect and make poor choices that we have the opportunity to repent and correct our ways. This was all made possible by our Savior, Jesus Christ, who atoned for our sins. As part of the plan our Heavenly Father presented we have the opportunity to live with our family and extended family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I keep the Word of Wisdom, abstain from harmful substances and addicting such as tea, coffee, alcohol. It has never been a temptation in my life. I try and do the basic things on a daily basis. Scripture study/ Reading on my own and with my children, weekly FHE, capture the teaching moments to teach my children about our faith, attend my weekly meetings, interact with those that share common beliefs but may not be members of the church, keep my temple recommend current, pay tithing, encourage my children to make good choices and use their agency wisely.
