Hi I'm Kristina

I am a dedicated, daughter, sister, aunt, and student. I am a mormon.

About Me

I have 3 half brothers, 1 half sister, and 2 step sisters. I am the youngest out of everybody. I enjoy being the youngest though, I have a lot of older siblings that I can seek advice from when I need it. I am the only LDS child that comes from the family. I strive to do my best in school. I am an international baccalaureate canidate. International Baccalaureate is a program, and it is the highest diploma that a high school student can earn in the state of Indiana. It is also a highly sought after title throughout the world. I am a member of the junior board of Tri-Hi-Y. Tri-Hi-Y is a great organization and it is mainly service based, which is awesome. I enjoy being around my family, and my friends. I enjoy sleep. I have the greatest job in the world, I am an aunt. I love spending time with my neices and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I was younger I had gone to church occasionaly, but I never believed. Then I took the missionary discussions, and I had knowledge, they gave me understanding, and I wanted to be baptized, but my mom had told me that I wasn't ready. I continued to go to church, but then I stopped going to church. My mom then got married to a wonderful man. The young women of my ward came and left me a note saying that they wished that I would come back to church. I decided to retake the missonary discussions and my step father took them with me. This time, I read the book of mormon and I gained faith. It was during this period that I prayed and asked if the church was true. I recieved an answer that it was. Ever since then I have known that the church was true. My step father and I were babtized and confirmed on the same day. We also went to the temple together with my mom for the first time. It was Awesome! Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was probably the best decision I have made thus far in my life.

How I live my faith

I go to seminary, which is like Bible study, every morning. I try to read my scriptures daily, as well as say personal prayers before I go to sleep at night. I dress modestly to show my respect for my body that Heavenly Father has given me. I participate in mutual activities, which are activities that the youth participate in during the week to give us time with our friends in a spiritual environment. At mutual we try to do a lot of service activities, but we also do fun things. I also live my faith by trying to be a good example when I am at school, and I try to be like the Savior every day.
