Hi I'm Keiton Johnson

I grew up in Idaho Falls, I just returned from serving a mission I love to sing, dance, hike and everything else and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors, whether I'm hiking, climbing, or sitting around a campfire swapping stories it's a good time. I also love movies and music, especially movies and music that are wholesome and uplifting. I'm going to be attending a local college to study Exercise Physiology so that I can eventually become a Physical Therapist. I've always enjoyed helping people out and I'm excited to be able to do that with Physical Therapy. I served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which was among the best years of my life so far. I did that because I have seen the Gospel change my life and the lives of my family members for the better, so why wouldn't I want to share that with people and help them become happier?

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God answers prayers. I have felt again and again that God loves me and that He wants me to follow His commandments. I have prayed to Him and asked Him if Joseph Smith is a Prophet, if the Book of Mormon is true, if the Bible is true, if Jesus Christ really is my Savior. God has answered all of these questions more than once through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ is real and that He helps us overcome the effects of sin. I know that God called Joseph Smith to bring forth the Book of Mormon and reestablish the Gospel of Jesus Christ in it's fullness. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true witness of the divinity of Christ and of His mission here on the earth. My knowledge of these things brings great peace and purpose to my life. It helps me understand who I am and why I'm here. I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father, who has created a plan for us to return to Him. In order to return, we must obey His Word and yield to the Promptings of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by fulfilling all that I am asked to do, by living up to the standards and by keeping the commandments. I am called right now to help organize activities for the men in the congregation. I try to make sure that everyone knows about it, especially those who aren't as active or who may be struggling. It helps them know that they always have a group of friends that are willing to help and support them.
