Hi I'm Michelle

I live in Colorado. I love teaching. I am a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Who am I? I am a wife. I love my husband. I have been married 9 years. Marriage has stretched me and helped me look at life with more open eyes. I am a mother. I love my 3 year old daughter. She is a special person to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to raise her. The other day she told me I am a nice mommy. All the hard work is worth those magical moments. I am a teacher. I have an elementary education license. Teaching is a passion of mine because it is so challenging. I am a Colorado resident. I love the sunshine in our state as well as the variety of activities available for entertainment value. I also love animals. I have two cats, and they are a part of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Hi, my name is Michelle. I was raised in the church. When I was around 16 years old, I decided to be a member of this church because "I" truly wanted to rather than because "my family" wanted me too. As a sincerely embraced the gospel teachings of the church with my heart and mind, I came closer to God and Jesus Christ. The bible says, "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."(Luke 6:43). I tested this truth regarding this church, and I know in my heart and mind that this is a good tree. I truly believe I am a stronger, more caring and loving person as a result of living the values this church teaches me. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I first want to say that I honor and uphold our forefathers for the sacrifices they made for us. It is a privilege to live in a country which allows all men and women to live their faith in any manner pleasing unto them. I believe that God speaks to mankind and it is our faith which guides us and helps us listen. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That means that I believe in Jesus Christ. I live my faith by trying to be more like Jesus Christ. One of my brothers is very ill right now. I am not his full time caretaker so I try to support him in other ways during this extremely challenging time in his life. I also live my faith by understanding that love is the most important thing in life. I find love by spending more time with my family and friends and serving other people. I suppose that I also live my faith by being sincerely interested in other people. I try to treat other people as I would like them to treat me. There is one more thing I want to say again. I am so thankful to live in a the United States of America because I am free to live my faith as I wish.
