Hi I'm Britney

I grew up in Idaho. I am in my last semester of collage studying elementary education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three older brothers, one older sister, and three younger brothers. I grew up as the baby until I was 10. My family was involved in foster care and we were able to adopt my three little brothers through that. I love my family! I am in my last semester before student teaching. I am married to a wonderful man that is also going to school. I love to bake and cook, read, play board/card games, and have fun! I also love children and spending time with them. I enjoy going to new places and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with faithful, LDS parents that taught me the gospel my whole life. I have always gone to church and lived the standards that I have been taught. I have read the Book of Mormon several times and have gained my own belief that it is true and inspired. I am still following the gospel because I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. If he was a prophet that means that the Mormon church and its teachings are true. I feel the peace and joy that the gospel brings everyday. I feel myself change and grow with my trials and hardships. I have felt a witness for myself that the LDS church is true. I know that my Savior loves me and that He restored His church on the earth so that we could have a way to return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I pray and thank my Heavenly Father every day for the blessings that He gives to me daily. I enjoy serving others through cooking and visiting with them. I am a family history consultant in my ward. This means that I am available to help people complete their genealogy work.
