Hi I'm Jeremy

I am a husband, I am a dad, I am a college student, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a dad, I am a college student and I am studying criminal justice. I like to spend time with my wife and my kids. We love to play games and watch movies. I love to play basketball and watch all types of sports. I go to church everyday Sunday and I hold a calling in the church. Also, I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have read the book of mormon and have prayed about it to know if it is true. I have read the Bible as well and they are both great books to read to understand our savior Jesus Christ who is our Elder brother. Our church teaches all about Jesus Christ and the sacrifices that he made while he was here on the Earth and what a great example he is to each and everyone of us. The church is true to me because I have prayed about it, I have taught it to people and I know that it's the only church that I want in my life. It has given me answers to questions and has taught me so much.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everday through example of praying and reading my scriptures. I work with the full time missionaries to find people to teach about the gospel and help people find there way back to church. I am a teacher at our church and I teach investigators who are interested in our church about what we believe in and the class is called Gospel Principles, It is an introductory class about who Jesus Christ is, Why do we have prophets, where did we come from, and what happens to us after we die. It is an amazing class and it's great to see peoples's questions get answered. It's a great blessing in my life to meet people from all different backgrounds and to learn from them and to be able to teach them something they may have not heard in there lifetime.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

NO, they do not just help other mormons. Just the other night I was out driving around and pulled over and gave a guy a jump with his battery because he was stranded on the road. We are asked to serve in any way possible because we are commanded to be Christlike which is charitable and kind. I love to help others in any way that I can whether its moving someone, helping some one with there car or bringing someone my wifes cookies. It's a way for someone to recieve help even if they didn't ask for it or want it. Show more Show less
