Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a Web Developer. I'm a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a twenty-something Web Developer with big dreams for changing the world, and the way people interact with technology. I love to build things that make peoples lives easier, and I have a strong affinity for sharing content via blogs, or other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. More importantly though, I'm a husband. My wife is the most important thing in the world to me. Some day we will have kids, and they will join my wife at the center of my universe. Until that day comes for us, I am focused on being the best husband possible and providing a good life for her and my future children.

Why I am a Mormon

If you read my "About Me" section you know that I'm a dedicated husband. I'm a Mormon because the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints help me to be a better husband to my wife. They help me prepare to be a father. My parents were both Mormon when I was born, but over the course of my life I have had to learn for myself that The Book of Mormon is true, that it is another testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ, and it is a companion to the Bible (which I also believe to be true). My conversion has come from small and simple moments, miracles, and experiences in my life. Those little things, that if you're paying close enough to notice, are hard to deny. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that he is our Lord and Savior. I know that we have a Prophet on the earth today, and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Saviors church, once again established on the earth.

How I live my faith

"Faith without works is dead, being alone" I take the words of James from the New Testament very seriously in my life. It's not just about going to church on Sunday, it's about how we live our lives Monday through Saturday. Every day I try to find something I can do to serve someone else. It might be my wife, or it might be a random person on the street, because "inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these...Ye have done it unto me". I also do my best to be honest in my day-to-day life. In they way that I work, in the things I say and do. I believe that character is built on honesty. Character isn't about the things that people see you do, it's about the things they DON'T see you do, and we need to be honest with ourselves and others about those things.
