Hi I'm Brody

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. Currently, I'm fishin' for men in NC. Absolutely lovin' it! And yes, I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

It's quite simple; my story. I've had it easy just like every other Mormon that has been born in the church. Ha no, no...thats not how it works, but i can and must say, I have been blessed from birth- to this day- with all my necessary needs taken care of. I've been brought up by faithful parents, loving siblings, and heaven sent individuals. What has consumed my life throughout my years...Family, Friends, Sports, Games, Art, The Office, SYTYCD, and most importantly, Love. I am the baby of the fam/ the only sibling yet to get hitched. Still got some time before THAT incredible day. As far as college goes, I've yet to attend, but after my mission, I desire to educate myself either at Arizona State University, or BYUI, or Utah State, or if needs be- BYU Provo, but nothing is set in stone as far as that goes, obviously. Pretty much, my heart and mind is ultimately here in North Carolina where I'm currently serving a two year mission. My Lord sent me to the place where I can do the greatest good for Him. I cherish my mission and all the opportunities it has and will provide. I love the present time.. Where I stand. Who I'm with. What I'm doing. I live for the future. The future being as soon as dinner tonight, and as distant as the day when I will face God and be judged by my works and my heart.. I'm certainly not the best man there is, but I stive for the best in everything I do. And I testify that my 'best' has ever only been met, when living by the Spirit of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Just as Joseph Smith stated in the 13th Article of Faith..."We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." Who doesnt want to be like this? I being a Latter-Day Saint, seek after all truth where ever it can be found, and all the truth in which I have found has led me to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It certainly has led me to be Mormon. On the surface- I've looked at; studied, the church. I've watched and listened to the acclaimed prophets and apostles give their angelic sermons. I have gazed upon the exquisite temples that have been erected throughout this world and witnessed the flawlessness of them. I've talked to beautiful people who live by the precepts of this church and have heard the sincerity of their voice. I've watched both kids and adults smile, laugh, and love as they've played human battle ship for their mid-week activity. All these particular things, and more, have drawn me to the church. On the surface, it just makes sense to me. Deep down, where it really matters, is what grounds me in the faith. Things that have been impressed upon my spirit are irrevecoble. My soul is granished with testimonies that if I were to deny, I would receive a severe rebuking. Ultimately [I'm a Mormon] because, God, through the Holy Ghost, has told me, by every which way- that I must be!

How I live my faith

I wear a white shirt and tie everyday, along with a tag that reads, "The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints." I help people come unto Christ. Through Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. This is my purpose, and I stive to do it 24/7. I am a representative of Jesus Christ in action, word, and deed.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Brody
Being a missionary myself, I know very much what we'll share with you; A message fosused on Jesus Christ which strengthens not only your personal faith, but also the bonds in your family. The church that we represent is the church of God, therefor we bring in your home the words of God, and testify how He has set up His kingdom on the earth preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah. What we as His servants do, is bring you closer to Him by presenting what we've learned to be true by the Holy Ghost, and provide the opportunity for you to do likewise. We hopefully do it in love. Being human just like you, we know that we arent perfect, but we do know that we have been called of God to do this work. We are His servants, and we will bring His spirit into your home, if you're willing to accept us. I promise you these things are true in the name of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
