Hi I'm Morgan Mead

I'm from Las Vegas. I love to laugh, I'm a sports enthusiast, musician, sister and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was recently married to the man of my dreams. I am a college student. I am a junior, majoring in Exercise Science. I hope to one day be a Physical Therapist. I love to play tennis. I love to play my cello. I love music of all kinds. I love to volunteer, along with hang out with my friends, laugh, eat and have fun. I love being with my family - family means so much to me. I come from a large family and I love every second I get to spend with them. I love to smile and often have been told that I smile all the time. I love to be happy and share my happiness with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the joy this gospel brings me. I know that I am a child of God, that my Heavenly Father knows me by name, loves me & cares for me. He loves me so much that He wanted me to be able to communicate with Him so He listens as I pray each day to Him. He also provided scriptures, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price, so that I can read and learn of Him. I know that because He loved me so much, He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to atone for the sins that I make. This plan allows me to be able to repent and one day return to the presence of my Heavenly Father. This plan is a plan of happiness. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me. I believe in Christ. I have felt His arms around me as I feel alone and weighed down by life. I know that Christ knows exactly what I have gone through and knows exactly what I feel. He is the only one that can have empathy towards me. I was recently married to the man of my dreams in the temple for time and all eternity. What a great feeling it is to know I can be with him forever. I know that because of this gospel, I can be with my family forever through the sacred ordinances found within the temples. I love my husband and family so much and do not know what I would do without them by my side for the eternities. No other thing on this earth has brought me the joy that I feel from this Gospel. People ask me why I am always happy. The answer is simple. I know who I am - a child of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example of Christ every day. I try to always serve those around me. Some ways that I can do that is through my callings in church, through visiting teaching, and volunteering as much as possible. I try to smile at all times and try to help those that feel weighed down by their trials in life. I can help those around me by smiling, giving them a hug, cooking them a meal, listening and numerous other ways. As I try to better relate to those around me and help bear their burdens, I can live my faith- a faith that centers on Jesus Christ. Something else that helps me live my faith is by doing all the small things that truly do help. I read my scriptures every night. I pray to my loving Heavenly Father everyday. I attend church every Sunday, partake of the sacrament every Sunday and go to the temple as often as possible. By doing these along wtih service, I feel that I can grow closer to my Heavenly Father and become more like my ultimate role model, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
