Hi I'm Marianne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a creative teenager loving every day of my life. I enjoy baking, photography, blogging, writing, my family, my friends and the beach!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in a family who loves the lord and are members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. At the age of 8 I was baptized and confirmed into the church, and it has been an amazing experience to learn and grown in the church. The gospel of Jesus Christ has done more for me than I could have ever imagined! The principals and promises of the gospel have brought me so much joy and comfort in my life. I am so thankful for my savior Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice for me. It is a wonderful gift to know that I am a daughter of God and that all of us here on this earth are his children.

How I live my faith

In our church we have a program for the girls in our church ages 12 - 18. Our group is called Young Women's. The group I am in is for 14-15 year old girls. It is called Mia Maids. During a part of our church on Sunday we meet together where we learn lessons and read our scriptures. I have been called to serve in the Mia Maids presidency and love it! Our presidency meets together and plans weekly activity's, and we think of ways to help those who may be struggling. I get to help send reminder emails about our activity's and I try to encourage all the girls to come. Another program for the youth of our church is called Seminary. It is an early morning religious class that helps the youth learn more about the gospel and get their day started off the right way. In my Seminary class I am called, along with another girl as a coordinator for social events and parties for outside of class.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Marianne
Signs of the existence of God are everywhere on our earth. God loved us so much that he created a beautiful earth for us to live on and enjoy. When we smell a flower, watch a sunset, swim in the ocean or hike a mountain we can feel Gods love for us. When we spend quiet moments in nature alone, peaceful feelings and reassurance can come to us and we can know that there is a God, he is our father and he loves us. Show more Show less
